Data sources
Stabilator Aircraft Intelligence aggregates public and third-party sources. Each source has different refresh cadence, coverage, and licensing terms.
FAA Aircraft Registry
Official U.S. civil aircraft registration identity, status, and publicly releasable ownership fields. Registration data is an official public record; it is not observed flight activity.
NTSB
National Transportation Safety Board accident and incident records when confidently matched to an aircraft identity. Matching may contain uncertainty; absence of a listed record does not prove absence of events.
ADS-B observations (ADSB.lol)
Detected flight segments and derived utilization metrics are built from third-party ADS-B observation feeds. ADSB.lol data is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Stabilator attributes observed flight activity accordingly and does not treat these figures as official aircraft records, tach/Hobbs time, or airworthiness evidence.
Airports
Airport names, ICAO/IATA codes, and location labels come from public airport reference datasets used to annotate detected origins and destinations when confidence thresholds are met.
